The Ligue 1 champion PSG is ready to claim another win in the French elite division. On
Saturday Thomas Tuchel’s boys will host Rennes at the Parc des Princes in Paris. We are
ready to present you our preview in these football betting tips this weekend.
These two teams are representing France in the Champions League right now, so you can
see why this is a derby game. During the week they even recorded similar results because
they both lost their matches. PSG lost their visit to RB Leipzig in Germany while Rennes
suffered a bad 0-3 defeat against Chelsea at the Stamford Bridge.
For PSG it was a second consecutive defeat in the Champions League, so obviously the
team has some problems regarding its European performances. It’s not like this in the
Ligue 1, though. Tuchel’s team is leading the standings with 21 points and it’s currently
enjoying seven consecutive wins.
In their last Ligue 1 game PSG paid a visit to Nantes and celebrated a 3-0 win. The team
is maybe struggling in the Champions League, but in the Ligue 1 they dominate after a
rocky start.
Rennes approach this visit to Paris from third place in the Ligue 1. They have 18 points
and they have lost just one of their league matches so far – against Angers SCO in
Rennes are not going to be in a good mood after their Champions League loss as well.
They didn’t show a good football in London and now they have another tough challenge
That’s our football betting tips this weekend for the Ligue 1 clash between PSG and
Rennes in the French capital. PSG are in a run of seven consecutive wins in the league
and they will be motivated to do better after their defeat in the Champions League. It’s
going to be a tough game for the visitors.
