Ibiza hosts Athletic Bilbao at the Estadio Municipal de Can Misses in a game from the
1/16-finals of the Copa del Rey. In these soccer predictions for this week we will try to

Ibiza reached this phase of the competition after an amazing 5-2 win over another La Liga
team – Celta Vigo. Nobody really expected such a result – Celta were favourites, but Ibiza
surprised them pretty badly and scored five goals. Sergio Castel scored a brace while Javi
Perez, Manu Molina and Angel Rodado put the ball in the net as well.
At this moment Ibiza are playing in Group B of Segunda B and they are leaders in the
division with 26 points won. In 10 matches played so far they are still unbeaten.
Athletic Bilbao will be in euphoric mood when they face Ibiza on Thursday. Just few days
ago the Basques triumphed with the Spanish Super Cup when they beat Barcelona in the
final. The regular time in Sevilla ended with a 2-2 draw, but Inaki Williams scored a
wonderful goal and brought the trophy to Bilbao.
Now Athletic must forget about what they did about Barca, because it’s another game that
is ahead. What Ibiza did against Celta in the previous round is a proof that they can be
very dangerous. It can’t be a fluke that they have scored five goals against a La Liga side.

could really suffer if they underrestimate their opponents. That’s exactly what Celta Vigo
